 When I was about 7, my older brother taught
me how to play drums. Since he played and sang in a band at my father's night club, I was exposed to a lot of live country music as I was growing up. As I moved into my teen years and
high school, I started playing guitar and singing. I played drums in a marching band and guitar in a stage band. I later moved to Baton Rouge, where a friend introduced me to
Fantasy, for which I've been a member ever since. I'm glad to be a part of Fantasy. I find myself now mostly being a vocalist, while still playing guitar and keyboards. We perform a
wide variety of music and play mainly around Baton Rouge. We've recorded and released two CD's so far. I wrote the title track, Steel Toe Cowboy on our newest CD. Recording has
been great fun and exciting for me, and I'm really looking forward to our next project. Mark
