My interest in music started as a kid, when I
used to use pots and pans as a drum set. If my mother wanted to cook, she had to raid my bedroom. I guess that she got tired of that, because my grandmother gave me my first real
drum set. The neighbors were never the same. My brother played sax and we became "The Midnighters" when I was 14. I have played professionally ever since. I tried playing drums
in the school band, but was switched to clarinet because there were too many drummers. Little did I know how much that would pay off later in songwriting and production. In ninth grade I
moved from clarinet to 1st chair and section leader in Drums. Yippee! I was selected All-Parish and All-State and became drummer for the LSU Stage Band. Over the years I've
played just about every type of music and been fortunate to play with some great musicians like Allan
Touissant, Eternity's Children, Stephen Stills and Percy Sledge, just to name a few. I've always loved playing drums, however my newest passion is production. Hearing a song, or a melody, or even a rhythm and
watching the growth into an impressive piece of music is what it's really all about. When you hear something
you created played and people applauding. It doesn't get any better than that. As long as I can keep churning them out, I'm gonna keep on playing till the Lord or the Devil says ...
