Truly a band of unparalleled talent, equally at home on the stage for live performance or in the studio recording commercials, jingles or album tracks. These musicians are equally comfortable playing their own music from their CD releases or a wide variety of music determined by the audiences preferences.

With backgrounds ranging from classical training to rock-n-roll, they perform country, rock and classic standards with equal ease, attacking each song with true feeling and energy.

Under the name Fantasy they released two CD's. First Flight, a highly respected regional success, featuring a variety of original music, country classics and R&B standards (Tupelo Honey, Rainy Night in Georgia.) In their second release, Steel Toe Cowboy, Fantasy decided to focus on country music, with wonderful results. The title cut received rave reviews and airplay on hundreds of stations nationwide. "Steel Toe Cowboy" (written by vocalist Mark Maddie) was ranked number 35 for the year, 1999 on the Gavin Americana Chart, after staying on the chart for 24 consecutive weeks.

Due to the fact that the name Fantasy did not lend itself to the country format, the name of the band was changed to Steel Toe Cowboy with the release of their third CD, Puttin The Hammer Down, a CD with something for everyone. Hot country such as "Hanging By A Thread" and "Can't Your Memory Take A Hint" get you moving on the dance floor while ballads, "A Fire in The Rain" and "What Happens Now" slow you down and get you close. "The Wall", a moving story about a boy and his connection with the father he never knew will touch your heart while "Life's Been Good To Me" will make you smile.

With their latest release “Back Side Of The Moon” a single from the soon to be released CD “Down That Road Again”. Steel Toe Cowboy had a tremendous response from radio programmers and the public alike. “Back Side Of The Moon” broke on to the New Music Weekly charts and stayed there for 18 weeks, reaching #45 while being surrounded by all the big names and major record labels in country music today. This is quite an accomplishment for an independent record label in today’s music industry.

The members if Steel Toe Cowboy feel we had a good song and a strong promotion team headed by Buddy King of King Promotions. Buddy and his staff did one Hell of a job in promoting our name and music to radio programmers through out the country.

Steel Toe Cowboy's recording and production is performed at K&C Louisiana Music Factory and they release their CD's on Dog Gone Good Records.
