Glen Bacot Jr.
My interest in music began in the sixth grade when I decided to play drums, much to the delight of my parents and neighbors. I participated in all parish Honor Band through high school and was selected best percussionist my
senior year. My family encouraged my interest in drums as my talent developed. My uncle, Ted encouraged me and pieced together spare drums into my first kit. It wasn't until my sophmore year that I managed to save
enough money to buy my own drum set. I joined the Jazz Band and have accumulated many awards over the years. Upon graduation, I formed my own band (lasting about 2 years). In 1997, I
started as Sound Engineer for Fantasy the Band and began playing percussion with Fantasy in 1998. When Steel Toe Cowboy came about I was extremely pleased when asked to be a part of the Cowboy. My outside
interests include being a volunteer fireman, Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and paramedic, Hazardous Materials Responder, and sports of any kind. So Party On and keep the music alive!
